Welcome! I’m Renee Wilson, a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience. I offer personalized telehealth services to children and adults across Indiana, focusing on the root causes of mental health concerns to help you find lasting healing.
I use a functional and integrative approach to mental health, believing that mental well-being is deeply influenced by biological factors, life experiences, and personal beliefs. I am passionate about helping individuals uncover and navigate the unique relationships between their mental, emotional, and physical health and center my practice on providing personalized care that addresses the whole person, not just their symptoms.

Psychiatric Evaluation
We will begin with a thorough evaluation of your psychiatric, social, and medical history. The goal is to gain a deep understanding of your unique needs, concerns, and goals.
If you're currently taking psychiatric medications, we'll review how they're working and make any necessary adjustments. If you're not taking medication, we'll explore options tailored to your symptoms and preferences. Once we begin treatment, we will monitor your progress closely, adjusting dosages or medications as needed to ensure optimal results and minimize side effects.
Appropriate lab work helps ensure we’re addressing any underlying conditions that might be contributing to symptoms. We will also explore supplements and lifestyle changes that can support your mental health.

Functional and Integrative Treatments
Therapy plays a vital role in mental healthcare, and we utilize a range of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), and parts work (IFS). We are also open to collaborating with your current therapist to ensure we effectively address your needs together.
In our ongoing treatment, we prioritize open communication and welcome your feedback, as it's essential in crafting the right treatment plan for you. Initially, we'll meet more frequently, typically on a biweekly or monthly basis, to closely monitor your progress. Once you've stabilized, we'll transition to appointments spaced out every 3 months, ensuring you continue to feel supported and heard throughout your journey.

Safe Tapering and Discontinuation
Our goal is to help you take the least amount of psychiatric medication necessary. If you come to a point you're feeling better and wish to discontinue your medication or feel ready to stop, we'll create a safe, gradual tapering plan to minimize withdrawal symptoms and support your well-being. We'll work closely with you to ensure a smooth and safe transition.
